Composing

As a holistic musician, I compose small works, especially for percussion ensembles and drum solo. On this page some of my pieces are available for free download. Occasionally new ones are added, so come by again.

Copying of the works is explicidly permitted.

"Tom Tom Tornado", 3 people, snare drum, 3 toms, bass drum + cymbals

Level: Easy (dynamics, paradiddle, double strokes)

"Run up to 12", 4-5 people, xylophone, snare drum, tonewoods, cymbals + bass drum (can be played by one or two people)

Level: Easy-Medium (flam, brushes on snare drum, tempo change)

"On the wrong track to the xylophone", 3-4 people, xylophone, 2 timpani, bass drum + cymbals (can be played by one or two people)

Level: Easy-Medium (rolls, accidentals)
